Indonesia has a lot of unique natural beauty and charming. One of the unique nature of Indonesia is Bono waves in Riau inland river.
Bono waves is located in Kampar River. The surf is a natural phenomenon due to the current meeting of the river to the sea and ocean currents into the river.
Kampar is a long river that descends from Bukit Barisan mountain range that forms on the island of Sumatra along the west coast. The river passes through the province of Riau, eventually empties into the waterway on the east coast of Sumatra.
Kampar river itself is split into two major branches, known as the Kampar Kanan (right branch Kampar) and Kampar Kiri (left branch).

Waterways are then gathered in Langgar in Pelalawan in the Kampar estuary. He was joined by many other rivers that lead to Kampar projecting out into the wide mouth of the river here.
In each pair, the high waves of the sea rolling in and meet downstream of Kampar, in which two opposite energies meet, which makes waves Bono happen.
This natural phenomenon by surfers only exist in Brazil and Indonesia. To be able to surf had to wait for a full moon. Thus, the surfers are not able to enjoy the waves Bono at any time.
There are many estuarine crocodiles reach 3 meters in length upstream of the river. In addition to estuarine crocodile, there are many pythons and other snakes are not venomous can be found here. Often the surf see crocodiles in the river estuary, but usually, they will hide in the creeks when the waves come Bono.
Bono waves known as The 7 Ghost by international surfers because Bono has 7 multi-layered waves. On board inflatable boat and crashing waves Bono, then we will see the seven waves it very clearly, but we did not get to take pictures, just to see.
